What I don't get is people that keep saying 'Mega Man X songs need metal covers' or 'turns songs that aren't metal into metal'. Except, you know, they WERE metal. As close to metal as a SNES could get, digitized recordings notwithstanding.

Stupid people aside, this is a fucking hardcore cover, man. Now it's time to see what else you've done in the two years since.

Most video game music 'remixes' are actually more along the lines of arrangements, as they still have the general structure of the original song. This tears Meet Them Head-On to pieces and lashes it back together with its own tendons and hair. A true remix in every sense of the word.
